Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in Racine, WI is seeking an experienced Tire Technician to perform maintenance and repair on semi-trailers. You’ll be mechanically inclined, work outdoors, and use your hands to service equipment.

We offer a service truck and tools, paid holidays, a 401K after 1 year, and opportunities for advancement within the company. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Tire Technician or similar mechanical role.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Pass DOT drug screen and hold a valid driver’s license if required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tire maintenance including checks, inspections, repairs, mounting/replacement.
• Clean hubs and wheels of corrosion.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Perform other mechanical duties as assigned.

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a growing powerhouse in the Trucking Industry. RSS has been in business for over 32 years and has nearly 400 team members located in 17 states! We are currently looking to expand our team in the Racine, WI area. We are seeking an experienced Tire Technician to help perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers.

About the Job:
A successful candidate should be an experienced Tire Technician. Someone who's mechanically inclined, a hard worker, enjoys working outside, enjoys working with their hands, and is looking to learn a trade in a growing field.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct tire maintenance including checks, inspections, repairs, mounting/replacement.
• Clean hubs and wheels of corrosion.
• Help maintain positive working relationships with current customers.
• Other mechanical duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to pass a Drug Screen.

• Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular and frequent basis.
