Position Overview:
Mounting and dismounting tires, flat repairs, and vehicle inspections. This is the core of the business function and a starting point for all other positions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform tire work (retail and commercial): Mounting, dismounting, air pressure checks, balancing, tire rotation, and flat repairs. Ensure lug nuts are tightened to proper torque specifications.
- Inspect vehicles according to VIR training standards.
- Recommend safety and preventative services to customers.
- Receive product into location prior to storage.
- Review procedures and use Quick Guide for parts ordering on Treadnet.
- Perform vehicle oil changes as per VIR standards when required.
- Assist with store opening and closing, including End of Day (EOD) procedures.
- Complete end-of-shift duties such as cleaning and work finishing, with manager approval.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction and communication.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and organization, including sweeping, garbage disposal, and tire inventory management.
- Ensure the parking lot is free of debris and garbage.
- Organize warehouse, ensuring tires are grouped, inventory is faced, and aisles are tidy and safe.
- Keep workspace clean, including bay areas, company vehicles, and customer vehicles.
- Assist as shuttle or courtesy driver for customers.
- Support phone and counter duties as needed.
- Complete all required training and perform other duties such as oil changes, lube support, and alignment support.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Interest in mechanical work
- Experience in vehicle maintenance shop (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Regular attendance and punctuality
