Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is looking for a tire technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial tires with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnosing commercial vehicles, performing fleet inspections and routine maintenance, operating TPMS, loading inventory, and responding to service calls. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required; you’ll work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older; 21 years or older to drive.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
• Able to perform repetitive and sustained physical exertions, including bending, lifting, kneeling, and exposure to vibrations.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime maybe required.
