Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring in Westbrook, ME for a Tire Retread Associate. You will support the retread process by inspecting tires, buffing casings, repairing, applying new tread, and curing the retread to ensure a safe, high‑quality product.

No prior experience required; we provide training and offer a path to career growth with a comprehensive benefits package and weekly pay. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Basic Computer Skills
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in manufacturing/ General Labor/ Entry Level is a plus

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess if they can be retread
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing
• Use rubber cement or a patch to repair the casing before applying new tread
• Build the tire by applying new tread
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application
• Final inspection to ensure a safe, quality product
