Job summary

Goodyear is hiring Retread Technicians in Westbrook, ME to support tire retreading operations. You will inspect tires, buff casings, repair, apply new tread, and cure retread assemblies to deliver safe, high-quality tires.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic Computer Skills

Responsibilities

• Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread
• Buff the casing to remove any worn tread
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing
• Using rubber cement or a patch, repair the casing before applying new tread
• Building the tire by applying new tread
• Curing the tire to mold the retread application
• Final Inspection to assess a safe and quality product
