Job summary

Thompson Tire & Service in Dubuque, IA is hiring a Tire Production Associate to support our Goodyear Authorized Retread plant. You will participate in retread stages, inspect tires, buff casings, repair and apply new tread, cure and inspect finished tires, while joining a small, skilled team.

No prior experience is required, but a willingness to learn, strong work ethic, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential in a fast-paced automotive repair environment with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread eligibility.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread and repair the casing as needed.
• Repair with cement or patches and apply new tread before curing.
• Assemble the tire and cure the retread application; final inspection for quality.
• Support a small, skilled team and maintain a clean, safe work area.
