Doggett Equipment Services Group in Houston is seeking a Tire Operations Manager to lead tire service operations, overseeing day-to-day performance, profitability, safety compliance, and service standards across tire functions.

This role manages tire technicians, schedules field and shop activities, controls inventory and procurement, and drives sales initiatives while maintaining high safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing tire service or fleet maintenance operations.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L and operating budgets.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience with tire service tools and equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage full departmental P&L responsibilities.
• Develop and monitor operational budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze KPIs and implement performance improvement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and safety regulations.
• Drive tire conquest sales efforts in coordination with local SOS reps.
• Lead cold calling, site visits, and biannual Tire Sales Blitz campaigns.
• Generate and manage tire quotes with a focus on price, quality, availability, and supplier reliability.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly with the highest standard of service.
