Job summary

Continental is seeking an entry-level candidate for the extruding department. The role involves removing and reloading dies, performing recipe changes, and carrying out first-run setup (50#). You will conduct changeovers, maintain belt tension, and manage scrap material.

The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs and physical tasks in a non-climate controlled environment. New hires may be placed on evening/weekend shifts and must adhere to safety protocols, including hearing protection and steel-toe

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 0-2 years of manufacturing experience is required.
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Position in extruding department.
• Removal and reloading of dies.
• Recipe changes.
• Place strip of rubber on feed belt and roll up the 1st run (50#).
• Conduct changeovers as needed.
• Maintain tread running within tolerance.
• Scrap tread into mill as needed.
• Consist lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent reaching and twisting; occasional bending, squatting, and climbing of stairs/ladder.
