Job summary

Continental Corporation is seeking a manufacturing associate to monitor extrusion operations, operate machine controls, and resolve material jams. The role requires heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs) and frequent reaching, with shifts that may include evenings and weekends in a non-climate controlled environment with noise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of manufacturing experience needed.
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Monitor extruding machine operations and observe gauges to detect malfunctions.
• Operate press controls to activate machinery and equipment.
• Clear jams and remove defective or substandard materials or products.
• Move materials between storage and work areas using racks, hoists, and power trucks.
• Perform heavy work with lifting up to 100 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Frequent reaching and twisting; occasional climbing of stairs/ladders, squatting, and bending.
