Continental Tire the Americas, LLC in Clinton, MS is seeking a Tire Building Operator to operate high-investment Commercial Radial Truck Tire building equipment, ensuring accurate component placement and consistent quality throughout the tire-building process.

You will read specifications, perform quality checks, make minor machine adjustments, and coordinate with teammates while working 12-hour rotating shifts in a non-climate controlled environment; safety and teamwork are required.

Competenze

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Work Keys Silver certification.
• Ability to lead and promote teamwork in a production environment.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Mansioni

• Load and remove stock cassettes and books.
• Make minor machine adjustments to ensure proper stock length and placement.
• Perform quality checks on products using measurements and standards.
• Read specifications and use gauges to monitor quality.
• Respond quickly to downtime and notify supervision as needed.
• Operate control panels, both automatic and manual.
• Execute basic sequencing on Tire Build machines.
• Apply problem solving during machine cycle issues.
• Read and follow written instructions for specs and tolerances.
• Communicate with other operators and supervision.
• Drive forklifts and operate material handling equipment safely.
