Job summary

Continental Tire the Americas, LLC is seeking a Cutter Operator to run equipment for body ply, breaker, chafer, and slit gum components in a tire manufacturing environment. You will ensure product quality, manage inventory, troubleshoot issues, and follow safety procedures on 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities include reading specs, recording production data in systems, maintaining quality standards, and using CGMS/EWM/SBS software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and WorkKeys Silver level achieved.
• Ability to read specifications and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Fosters teamwork and can work under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutter equipment per production schedules and SAP work orders.
• Monitor machine performance and report downtime or issues.
• Read setup specifications and production requirements accurately.
• Ensure materials are available before production begins.
• Record time, quantities and data in required systems.
• Use quality monitoring tools to verify component specifications.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper stock levels.
• Operate material-handling equipment safely and responsibly.
• Follow all SOPs/WIs and safety policies, maintaining 5S standards.
