Job summary

Sam's Club in Deptford, NJ is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to provide safe, efficient service in both sales and service areas and to assist members with a great value experience. You will collaborate with associates to meet member expectations and support ongoing training for new technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, knowledge of tire and battery guidelines, POS familiarity, and hands-on use of handheld tools to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Valid state-issued driver's licence.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred Qualifications: Auto service industry, Retail Experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to fulfill sales and service requests, educating others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentoring new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, and service standards.
• Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and use handheld technology for real-time decisions.
• Communicate equipment and supplies needs, manage returns and special orders, and process transactions at the register with accuracy.
• Act as a brand ambassador by delivering high-quality service and products and supporting team members.
