Job summary

Sam's Club in Deptford, NJ is seeking a full-time Tire & Battery Center associate to maintain safe, organized displays and provide expert member service. You will help with tire installations, maintenance, and inquiries, using Sam’s Garage and POS systems to assist members and process transactions.

You will promote TBC offerings, coordinate service scheduling, and support the team with safety, compliance, and a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and standards on the sales floor and in the Tire & Battery Center (TBC).
• Organize, stock, zone, and merchandise the sales floor per policy; handle claims, returns, shrink, and damages.
• Assist members with tire installations, maintenance, and service appointments; communicate lead times and changes.
• Provide expert member service, recommend products, explain warranties, and ensure value for members.
• Promote TBC offerings and drive sales and service excellence across the club.
• Triages service workflow in TBC bays; prioritize and coordinate service needs with technicians.
• Utilize Sam’s Garage and digital tools to plan sales and improve the service experience.
• Act as a brand advocate; develop and train team members; engage with members professionally.
• Process purchases and payments; handle returns and exchanges; operate POS hardware.
• Follow policies, ethics, and Open Door Policy; adapt to change and support continuous improvement.
• Emphasize teamwork, inclusion, and integrity; deliver customer-first results.
• Maintain records, train others, and support a safe, compliant work environment.
