Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, while developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, and sales techniques including POS systems.
3. Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and enhance engagement, using handheld technology for immediate business decisions.
4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies, track returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and compliance standards.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive team environment. Follow company policies, complete work efficiently, and contribute to a culture of belonging and respect.
6. Act with Integrity: Uphold high standards of ethics and compliance, support Walmart’s values, and be accountable and transparent.
