Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, while developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, and in phone and in-person sales techniques.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and enhance associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to safety, new products, and training.
4. Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies, track and monitor returns and orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and compliance standards. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service, and developing others. Foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
