Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills to provide safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, Point of Sale systems, and selling techniques.
- Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to plan, drive sales, improve service, and elevate engagement. Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and training.
- Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools, and supply needs, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safety and compliance. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate the brand by valuing member experience, developing others, and fostering a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment. Comply with policies and procedures, complete work assignments, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, create an inclusive workplace, build strong relationships, and motivate others. Help develop and mentor team members, recognize contributions, and create a culture of belonging.

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Successful completion of required training and assessments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in auto service or retail is preferred.
