Reporting To

Support Services Specialist

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will execute service work according to work instructions, ABB quality, and safety guidelines. You will deliver quality customer service by planning and executing service work aligned with customer orders and expectations. Your expertise will help retain customers through effective communication of service timelines and expectations.

The work model for this role is: Remote. This position contributes to the Electrification Smart Power division in the Western Region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Working with customers on-site to identify opportunities for operational improvements and pain point elimination.
2. Performing field service tasks, diagnosing technical issues, and conducting analysis via remote or on-site activities for certified service categories and products.
3. Preparing material lists required for service activities and ensuring all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of suitable quality.
4. Acting as a trainer for field service associates and customers when needed.

Qualifications for the Role

• 2 years of technical/electrical schooling preferred and/or relevant military experience.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience with 3-phase (208/480VAC) power distribution equipment (UPS, PDU, STS, Panelboards, etc.) or relevant military/field service experience.
• Must have work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
