Job summary

Sam's Club in Champaign, IL is seeking a team-focused associate for the Tire & Battery Center. You will help members with tire and battery purchases, explain warranties, and coordinate installation services while maintaining safety and merchandising standards.

You will leverage Sam’s Garage knowledge and reference materials to recommend safe, cost-effective solutions and drive value for members. The role requires strong customer service and adherence to policies across the club environment.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Auto service industry experience and/or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Tire & Battery Center (TBC) safety and standards and organize the sales floor.
• Assist members with tire and battery purchases and service decisions; provide expert recommendations using product knowledge.
• Explain warranties and ensure members receive value by leveraging Sam’s Garage information and reference materials.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and handle payments per policy; support service workflow in the TBC bays.
• Communicate lead times, installation appointments, and any order changes to members; aid in scheduling and prioritizing service.
