Job summary

Walmart in Kentwood, MI is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to deliver safe, efficient service in both sales and service areas and to assist members with their needs.

You will work with a team to educate customers, handle POS transactions, manage inventory, and follow safety and compliance standards while growing your product knowledge and helping members save time and money.

Qualifications

• Valid State-issued Driver's License.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: Auto service industry experience and retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to fulfill sales and service requests and mentor new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, tire and battery guidelines, and service standards.
• Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and elevate associate engagement.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain inventory, paperwork and compliance.
• Identify member needs and assist with purchasing decisions and issue resolution.

18+ years old

Auto service experience (preferred)
