Job summary

You will assist with tire and battery installations, inventory, and merchandise presentation while using Sam’s Garage and product knowledge to guide customers. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in auto service or retail is preferred to support Tire & Battery Center duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and standards on the floor and in the Tire & Battery Center (TBC) by following safety policies and procedures.
• Stock, sign, price, and display merchandise; manage returns, shrink, and damages to keep shelves organized.
• Assist members with tire and battery orders, installation scheduling, and service recommendations.
• Provide expert member service, use Sam’s Garage and product knowledge to guide purchases and explain warranties.
• Promote TBC offerings and value, collaborate with store teams to raise awareness.
• Prioritize and triage service requests in TBC to optimize efficiency and meet service needs.
• Follow safety, equipment operation, and checkout procedures; assist in payments, returns, and exchanges.
• Engage with members professionally, handle challenging situations with empathy, and adhere to Open Door Policy.

Skills

Valid driver's license

18 years of age or older

Auto service experience preferred

Retail experience preferred
