Walmart Sam's Club in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to provide safe, efficient service in sales and service areas while helping members get more of what they love for less. You’ll collaborate with associates, apply safety protocols, and leverage handheld tech to drive service quality and sales.

The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and mentoring of new technicians, with a focus on customer-first service and accurate inventory handling.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: Auto service industry and retail experience.
• I acknowledge completing trainings and assessments as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests.
• Educate associates on tools, tasks, resources and mentor new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, TPMS and POS systems.
• Operate cash registers and process transactions, maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain inventory, report safety hazards and uphold standards.
• Model Walmart values and deliver high-quality service to members.
• Assist customers with purchasing decisions and resolve issues promptly.
