Job summary

Sam's West Tire and Battery Center in Waterloo, IA is seeking a retail associate to support safety compliance, merchandise the TBC area, and assist members with tire and battery needs while coordinating service appointments.

You’ll leverage product knowledge to recommend safe options, handle purchases, returns, and warranties, and promote Sam’s Club services. This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and operating with integrity in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver's license.
18 years of age or older.
Auto service industry and retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain safety and policies on the floor and in the TBC, including safety sweeps and proper handling of materials.
Organize and merchandise the Tire and Battery Center according to policy.
Assist members with tire installation scheduling and service recommendations.
Provide expert member service, using product knowledge to recommend safe tire/battery options.
Drive sales and service excellence by communicating value and promoting TBC offerings.
Prioritize service workflow and coordinate with Team Lead/Technicians to meet needs.
Process purchases and returns using POS with different membership and payment types.
Uphold integrity, ethics, and brand standards in all interactions.
