Job summary

Sam's Club in Abilene, TX is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to provide safe, efficient service in both the sales and service areas and deliver more value to our members.

You will work with teammates to meet member expectations, apply safety standards, use POS systems, and support inventory and merchandising in the Tire & Battery Center. This full-time role includes benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educating others on tools, tasks, resources and mentoring new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery guidelines, service standards and POS operations.
• Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and support training.
• Communicate equipment, tools and supplies needs, manage returns and orders, and maintain inventory and safety standards.
• Act as a brand ambassador, delivering high quality service, supporting and mentoring others, and upholding Walmart values.
• Comply with company policies and ethics, complete tasks, report progress, and adapt to change.
