Job summary

Sam's Club in South Gate, CA seeks a Tire and Battery Center Services Lead to drive member service and supervise hourly associates, delivering safe and efficient services. You will model expertise, collaborate with other leaders, and ensure the club meets members' expectations.

You will lead the Tire and Battery Center team, maintain up-to-date product knowledge, train staff, and use digital tools to enhance sales and service.

Qualifications

• 6 months supervisory experience or 6 months experience in automotive industry.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Leader: Supervises the team within the Tire and Battery Center to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club.
• Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of tire and battery service, safety, and compliance protocols and trains the team.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and engage associates.
• Be an Owner: Drives business results, plans, staffs, and monitors inventories and expenses, and supports member service.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Trains and mentors the team, ensures e-learnings are completed on time and develops talent.
• Develops processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers and customers, monitoring results, and addressing improvements.
