Job summary

Sam’s Club in Danville, VA is hiring a Tire and Battery Center Team Leader. The role leads a team of hourly associates, drives member service, and ensures safe, efficient tire and battery services.

Shifts may vary and the position is full-time with an hourly wage of $22 to $30 per hour. You will supervise, train, and support the team, leveraging handheld tech to plan activities, manage inventory, and maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months supervisory experience or 6 months experience in automotive industry.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Completion of all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Leader – supervise Tire and Battery Center team to deliver the business plan and meet member expectations.
• Be an Expert – maintain knowledge of tire and battery service standards, equipment, safety, recalls and product specs; train the team.
• Be a Techie – use handheld devices to plan, drive sales, and improve service and safety communications.
• Be an Owner – manage operations, inventory, scheduling and transactions; ensure a clean, safe work area.
