Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club Tire and Battery Center is seeking a Services Lead to supervise hourly associates, drive member service, and model expertise in tire and battery operations. You will collaborate with other team leaders to meet the club’s expectations and ensure a safe, efficient service environment.

This role emphasizes leadership, continuous training on products and technologies, and use of digital tools to improve sales and service quality while maintaining compliance and a strong safety

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 6 months supervisory experience or 6 months experience in automotive industry.
• I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying requires me to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if I receive the position.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Preferred Qualifications: Supervisory experience, Tire Industry
• Tire Industry Certification - Certificate

Responsibilities

• Lead the Tire and Battery Center team to deliver the business plan and support member service.
• Set guidelines and expectations for tire and battery service and adhere to policies.
• Maintain knowledge of tire and battery service standards, equipment, and safety.
• Train the team on new products, technologies, and tools.
• Use digital tools to plan for and drive sales and improve service.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, and inventory controls; process transactions.
• Promote compliance with company ethics and safety standards.
• Act as an owner; plan equipment and supplies; monitor returns and special orders.
• Lead and participate in teams; develop talent; encourage career growth.
