Job summary

MFA Oil Company in Missouri is hiring Big O Sales Advisors to deliver fast, friendly customer service and educate customers on maintenance and tire options. You will handle transactions, promote products, and support store operations to meet company goals.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old, possess strong communication and sales skills, basic math, and legal authorization to work in the United States. Automotive shop experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use basic technical materials.
• Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.
• Strong verbal communication skills and sales abilities.
• Ability to perform basic math including making change.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer service area and host waiting customers with fast, friendly service.
• Handle complaints courteously and in line with policy.
• Inspect vehicles and review maintenance requirements to promote needed products.
• Promote sales by explaining benefits and using promotions and suggestive selling.
• Prepare warranties, service agreements, and tire sale records.
• Conduct accurate sales transactions; report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Manage ticket averages and assist store manager in meeting goals.
• Assist with opening/closing, inventory, reporting, merchandising and related tasks.
• Protect assets by cleaning and storing tools and equipment.
• Check-in vendors, receive merchandise, and stock shelves.
• Maintain store appearance per Big O Tires standards.
• Safely operate customer vehicles as required.
• Assist in training new employees as needed.
• Complete daily Today's Class Technician and other required training.
• Adhere to company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
