Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, able to read/write in English, and preferably 1 year in manufacturing. Forklift or equipment licensing may be required. On-site position with moderate physical activity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing/distribution operation preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting production and quality goals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift or equipment license as needed or required.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand building specifications, quality standards, work assignments, basic measuring tools.
• Mechanical aptitude to use basic hand tools and operate machinery.
• Interface with equipment HMI / PLC, and handheld scanning equipment.
• Meet minimum efficiency and quality requirements.
• Understand when adjustments are needed on any equipment to meet tolerances required.
• Ensure materials meet all specifications and are loaded properly for use.
• Follow procedures to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained.
• Organize materials and tires onto the proper racking.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation.
