Job summary

Laborup in Tennessee is seeking Production Technicians/Assemblers to build large equipment in a production manufacturing environment. You will assemble mechanical parts, wiring, hoses, hydraulics, and accessories using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools, following work instructions and basic blueprints with an experienced team.

Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required; suitable for those from construction, automotive, warehouse, or general labor backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Reliable attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime when production needs require it.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulic components.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools and install accessories.
• Measure parts using tape measures and other basic tools.
• Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and Standard Work Instructions.
• Position and secure components during assembly.
• Operate an overhead crane when required.
• Move and handle parts and subassemblies.
• Cross-train in multiple production areas.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
