Job summary

Laborup in Morristown, TN is hiring Assembly Technicians to build large equipment in a hands-on production setting. You’ll assemble mechanical parts, wiring, hoses, and hydraulics using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.

No prior manufacturing experience required; this can be a good fit for someone from construction, automotive, warehouse, or general labor. This is a full-time, direct-hire role on 2nd shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulic components.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools and install accessories.
• Measure parts using tape measures and other basic tools.
• Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and Standard Work Instructions.
• Position and secure components during assembly.
• Operate an overhead crane when required.
• Move and handle parts and subassemblies.
• Cross-train in multiple production areas.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
