Job summary

Prairie View A&M University, Department of Psychology, is seeking Student Hourly Assistants to support the TiPPS project under Title III. These student workers will provide academic guidance, psychosocial support, and resilience skill-building to PV peers, linking them to campus resources.

The positions run May 1 through August 31, and are open to PVAMU students who meet the enrollment and SAP requirements, with no prior experience needed.

Qualifications

• Presently enrolled at Prairie View A&M University for required credit hours.
• Must be in good academic standing (SAP) as demonstrated by the institution.
• No prior work experience required.
• For summer work, enrolled for at least six credit hours or preregistered for fall/spring.

Responsibilities

• Create a mentorship program to support peers.
• Pilot the mentorship program within the TiPPS project.
• Provide Title III faculty support and assist course evaluation.
