Prairie View A&M University, Department of Psychology, is seeking Student Hourly Assistants to support the TiPPS project under Title III. These student workers will provide academic guidance, psychosocial support, and resilience skill-building to PV peers, linking them to campus resources.
The positions run May 1 through August 31, and are open to PVAMU students who meet the enrollment and SAP requirements, with no prior experience needed.

These positions are necessary for supporting the efforts of the Thriving Panthers: Psychology Pipeline to Success (TiPPS) project funded by a Title III grant. These student workers will provide academic guidance and psychosocial support to their peers. Additionally, in line with the approved grant agenda, they will also teach resilience skill-building as well as connect fellow students to financial, academic, and career services. Overall, their role is designed to promote student success across a variety of dimensions to holistically support PV students. Timeframe would be from May 1st to August 31st.
Psychology majors (Junior or Senior standing) currently enrolled in Summer school at PV
