Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Add and adjust colorants to production batches based on formulas.
  • Match product colors to customer or standard color requirements.
  • Perform color checks and adjust as needed.
  • Maintain records of color formulations and adjustments.
  • Work with production and quality teams to ensure consistency.
  • Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are followed.
  • Handle and store colorants and related materials properly.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot color-related issues and drive improvements.
  • Support continuous tinting process improvements.

What is a Tinter?

The Tinter is responsible for adding and adjusting colorants to products to achieve precise color specifications. This role works with formulations, color standards, and production batches to ensure consistency and quality in finished products. The position plays a critical role in maintaining color accuracy, supporting customer requirements, and ensuring product quality across production.

What You Can Expect to Do as a Tinter:
