Career Opportunities with ProService Hawaii

Rated One Of Hawaii's Best Places To Work for 18 Years

At ProService Hawaii, we're not just another company-we're a tribe of passionate people committed to empowering employers and their employees across Hawaii. People are at the heart of everything we do. We know that running a business in Hawaii comes with challenges-from regulatory complexity to high costs. That's why we're dedicated to supporting both our clients and our team, fueling the "Why" behind everything we do.

We're the largest local HR partner trusted by over 3,000 employers and 50,000 employees, providing expert HR consulting, training, benefits, payroll, risk support, and more. We help organizations effectively hire, manage, and grow their teams with confidence. Headquartered in Hawaii with offices on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island, we've been voted Best Place to Work for over 18 years. Join our diverse and resilient team, and together, we'll make an impact.

At ProService, we help Hawaii's local businesses take care of their people, and that starts with getting the basics right. When a restaurant's time clock goes down before payroll, or a construction crew's hours don't sync, those businesses need someone who can fix it fast and explain it clearly. That's where our Time & Attendance team comes in.

As a Time & Attendance Consultant I, you'll be the go-to expert for our clients' time tracking systems once they're live, across both the hardware and the software. The work is high-volume and often time-sensitive, and it calls for real technical depth paired with genuine care for the client on the other end of the call. You'll know you're succeeding when clients stay confident in their platform, issues get resolved the first time, and the businesses you support get more out of their time tools than they did before you started.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Serve as the client-facing subject matter expert for time & attendance platforms, owning configuration changes, user access, and functionality updates after implementation

Troubleshoot and resolve time tracking software and hardware issues, including ordering, configuring, and maintaining time clocks at client sites across Oahu

Deliver user training and system consultations that help client admins confidently manage their own timekeeping

Diagnose root causes of complex technical issues and elevate to Level 3 support or development with the details needed for a fast resolution

Test and roll out new feature releases and platform updates, then share that knowledge across the team

Drive product adoption by proactively consulting with clients and feeding their needs back to Product Management

IS THIS ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU?

This role moves quickly. You'll manage a high volume of client accounts, and many of the issues you handle affect someone's payroll or their employees' paychecks. Same-day response times, clean case management, and following through until the problem is actually solved are not optional - they're the job. You'll have a team of experienced consultants and Level 3 support behind you, plus clear SLAs and processes, so you're never figuring it out alone.

You'll also be hands-on with hardware, which means setting up and maintaining time clocks at client locations around Oahu. If you enjoy a mix of desk-based troubleshooting and getting out to see clients in person, you'll find this balance rewarding. If you'd rather stay purely on the software side, this probably isn't the right fit. We'll train you on our platforms and tools, but we're looking for someone who already loves solving technical problems for real people.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

You've resolved technical issues in software or system environments with minimal supervision, and you can explain what went wrong in plain language. You've handled client escalations, worked them back to a root cause, and managed hardware and software configurations in a service setting. Experience with time & labor systems like UKG Ready or Kronos is a strong plus. Above all, you combine sharp analytical skills with a client-first mindset.

You're probably a fit if:

You dig for the real cause, not just the quick reset. A client kept reporting missing punches. Instead of re-entering them each week, you traced it to a device sync setting, fixed it, and the calls stopped, so their payroll admin got her Monday mornings back.

You can make technical concepts click for non-technical people. You walked a restaurant owner through how her clocks feed payroll, step by step and without jargon, until she felt confident handling her own schedule changes.

You stay calm and responsive when the pressure is on. A clock went down hours before a client's payroll deadline. You set up a manual workaround, kept the client updated throughout, and had the device back up the next morning, so every employee was paid on time.

You know when to solve it yourself and when to escal. You exhausted your own diagnostics on a complex integration issue, then escalated with logs and clear steps to reproduce it, and the fix landed in a day instead of a week.

You build relationships that make clients call you first. After a rocky go-live, you checked in proactively for several weeks, and the client went from frustrated to recommending your team to another business owner.

WORK LOCATION

This role is based out of our Hawaii Kai office. We offer a flexible hybrid schedule that gives you the structure of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work.

In office: Tuesday - Thursday | Remote Option: Monday & Friday
