ProService Hawaii seeks a Safety Consultant to advise on building, implementing, and executing workplace safety programs across Hawai'i, owning a portfolio of island-based clients. Qualifications

As a Safety Consultant, you'll be the trusted advisor clients call when they need a clear, practical answer - part technical expert, part relationship-builder. You'll own a portfolio of clients on every major island, turn complex regulations into action that works on the ground, and measure your success in fewer injuries, lower claims, and clients who refer their peers to ProService.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Advise clients on building, implementing, and executing workplace safety programs using ProService's proprietary six-step approach.

Conduct on-site injury-prevention evaluations, accident-reduction assessments, and OSHA/HIOSH compliance inspections, delivering clear, actionable recommendations.

Investigate accidents and near misses to uncover root causes and recommend abatement and risk-mitigation measures.

Analyze injury, claims, and risk data to target high-risk clients and drive measurable reductions in workers' compensation claims.

Design and deliver safety training for frontline employees and leadership, and guide clients through HIOSH inspections, complaints, and investigations.

Turn client results into advocacy and referrals, convey the value of ProService's safety services during the sales process, and keep activity current in CRM and LMS systems.

IS THIS ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU?

This role asks you to be equally comfortable interpreting a 1926 construction standard and sitting across from a business owner frustrated about a recent claim. You'll manage a large, cross-industry book of clients with minimal supervision, and you'll spend up to half your working time traveling between islands for on-site sessions. Independent portfolio management and regular inter-island travel are not optional - they're the job. You won't be doing it alone: you'll have an experienced Safety team, a proven six-step methodology, and leadership invested in your success behind you.

Regulations change, and clients count on you to know first. You'll be expected to track OSHA/HIOSH updates on your own and translate them into guidance a busy employer can actually use, while keeping a full calendar of inspections, trainings, and investigations on track. We'll give you the tools, development support, and peer expertise to stay sharp - the curiosity and discipline to put them to work are yours.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

You bring hands-on safety and risk-control consulting experience with a track record of reducing injuries and workers' compensation claims, along with a working command of OSHA/HIOSH 1910 and 1926 standards. You've built safety programs, delivered training that lands with both frontline crews and leadership, and managed a portfolio of clients or projects independently. Sharp analysis, genuine client focus, clear communication, quiet persuasion, and disciplined organization are what set you apart.

WORK LOCATION

Hawaii Kai, Oahu - Hybrid + Inter-Island Travel

This role is based out of our Hawaii Kai office with a hybrid schedule (in office Tuesday-Thursday, with remote flexibility on Monday & Friday). Inter-island travel is a regular part of the role - up to 50% of working time - to facilitate onsite client sessions across the islands.

COMPENSATION

The base compensation for this position is $84,000 - $116,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation at ProService is tied to performance - Strong results are recognized and rewarded
