Floor Supervisor

As a Floor Supervisor, you will lead, develop, and motivate a team of Brand Advocates to deliver a consistent Best in Class customer experience aligning with our brand purpose and values. You will partner with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager to maximize profitability by ensuring customer engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connection meet company standards. You will create an inclusive environment, ensuring internal and external customers remain top priority, and support the team’s growth through training and development.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in maximizing sales and achieving store target goals by leading a productive environment and ensuring the store team has needed knowledge and skills.
  • Monitor payroll while safeguarding business needs.
  • Lead and inspire a customer‑centric culture, recognizing and rewarding team successes.
  • Act as a brand ambassador within the community, seeking opportunities to engage customers and participate in community initiatives.
  • Provide leadership to ensure thorough training and ongoing development of the store team in customer engagement and all company programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Partner with Store Manager to achieve financial and operational objectives, including expense control, loss prevention, store audits, and weekly report reviews.
  • Maintain inventory integrity and visualize merchandise directives per company brand strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards, and practices concerning loss prevention, safety, and compliance, protecting company assets.
  • Model respectful behavior toward employees’ diverse backgrounds and uphold VF Corporation and brand values.
  • Promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best practices.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of store management experience in a fast‑paced, highly engaging retail environment.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales results.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong prioritization and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proven ability to drive results through team leadership.

  • Commitment to delivering a highly engaging customer experience through individual service and relationship building.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Preferred: Experience in specialty retail environment or footwear/apparel industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Physical ability to stand entire shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and use ladders for visual merchandising.
Salary and Incentives

Hiring Range: $15.40 – $23.10 USD per hour

Incentive Potential: Eligible for additional compensation awards, including annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential (details provided during recruiting).
