Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a 2027 Forestry Finance Intern to support investment analysis, financial modeling, and client reporting within the JPMorgan Natural Capital group in Portland, OR.

You will collaborate with Portfolio Management and Strategic Solutions teams to assess timberland opportunities, develop financial models, and contribute to client communications during a fixed-term, full-time 10-week program beginning in June 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Real Estate, Natural Resources, or a related field.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling concepts.
• Ability to interpret quantitative information and summarize findings clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models supporting timberland acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio management activities.
• Analyze timberland asset performance, market trends, and investment data to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario modeling to assess potential investment outcomes and risks.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly client reports, presentation materials, and investment analyses.
• Support portfolio and strategic solutions teams with data collection, reporting, and research projects.
• Participate in client meetings and discussions while documenting key takeaways and action items.
