Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in logistics, transportation coordination, inventory control, forestry products, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound log deliveries to support mill production schedules.
• Communicate with log suppliers, truck drivers, procurement personnel, and mill operations teams.
• Maintain records of log inventory, deliveries, scale tickets, and transportation documentation.
• Track and update inventory levels and production needs within company systems.
• Schedule and monitor transportation logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist with log procurement administration and vendor communication.
• Verify load documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare reports related to inventory, deliveries, and operational metrics.
• Work with operations personnel to ensure efficient log flow and yard organization.
• Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies.
