Job summary

Superior Hardwoods in Montezuma, IN, is seeking an Inventory Manager for a full-time role in a world-class hardwood lumber operation. You will oversee yard lumber inventory, coordinate with production crews, and ensure timely order receipt and reporting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5 years in hardwood inventory or manufacturing, and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook; SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of hardwood lumber inventory or manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook; SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Inventory Manager Summary

Our manufacturing location in Montezuma, IN is looking for an Inventory Manager. This is a full time, permanent opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.

Inventory Manager Responsibilities:

• Provide the overall internal customer communication and service for yard lumber
• Managing warehouse inventory, specifically on air and kiln dried lumber
• Work with Yard Production crews to assemble and receive orders
• Develop and maintain reports for products and customers

Inventory Manager Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years of hardwood lumber inventory or manufacturing experience, preferably in NE USA
• Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook. SAP Experience preferred.
• Organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines required, sometimes after hours
• Strong written and oral communications skills
