Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in forestry or related discipline.
  • Graduate degree in forestry or business desirable.
  • Knowledgeable of silviculture, growth and yield models, and North American forestry operations.
  • Excels in collaborative team environment and is a good team member.
  • Timber investment and DCF modeling knowledge.
  • Remsoft modeling software, DCF modeling frameworks, SQL, Esri GIS, and MS Excel knowledge.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-directed and effective time management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop CPMP modeling deliverables for timber properties, including consensus assumption development and harvest yield planning.
  • Update asset-level timber investment models annually for land transactions and operating costs.
  • Analyze IRR and NPV changes; communicate variance to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on ad-hoc investment analyses (disposition, silviculture, timber pricing, non-timber value-added projects).
  • Ensure quality control and issue resolution; present results clearly to customers.
