Job summary

Brekhus Tile & Stone, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to support the Senior Project Manager in estimating, project coordination, and administrative tasks. You will prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals, coordinate resources, and ensure projects stay on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SAGE essential for managing project documentation, budgets, and financial tracking.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Work closely with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to finalize project pricing.
• Ensure that estimates reflect all necessary labor, materials, and equipment.
• Use SAGE software to create detailed bids, track costs, and update project pricing.
• Attend site visits and inspections to assess project scope and provide accurate estimates.
• Assist the Sr. PM in managing and coordinating all aspects of the project lifecycle.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication throughout the project.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and the fabrication team to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor project schedules and progress, addressing delays or issues.
• Ensure permits, documentation, and legal requirements are met.
