Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting seeks an experienced commercial estimator for a well-established fabricator/provider of natural stone, terrazzo, cast stone and GFRC. You will prepare takeoffs from drawings, price large-scale projects, and review contracts and specs.

You will coordinate with sales, project management and production while performing value engineering and budgeting across multiple bids.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial estimating in building products or specialty construction.
• Experience with natural stone, precast, concrete or similar products.
• Strong blueprint reading and quantity takeoff skills.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam; experience with ERP estimating systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Estimate $1M–$20M natural stone and concrete projects.
• Review plans, specs, contracts and addenda.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Prepare bids using Bluebeam, Swift and an ERP system.
• Coordinate with sales, PM and production through estimating.
• Perform value engineering, cost analysis and budgeting across multiple bids.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs from architectural drawings and specifications.
• Estimate commercial natural stone, precast, terrazzo, GFRC, cast stone, and concrete projects valued between $1M–$20M.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and addenda.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Prepare bids using Bluebeam, Swift, and an ERP estimating system.
• Coordinate with sales, project management, and production throughout the estimating process.
• Perform value engineering, cost analysis, and budgeting while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial estimating experience within building products or specialty construction.
• Experience with natural stone, precast, concrete, or similar architectural products.
• Strong blueprint reading and quantity takeoff skills.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and experience using ERP systems (AS/400 or similar preferred).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.
• Residential, roofing, paving, or civil/sitework-only estimating backgrounds are not a fit.
