Job summary

White Horse Catering seeks a skilled Bartender in Florida to prepare and serve beverages, manage bar stock, and handle cash transactions. You will greet guests, take orders, mix drinks, and ensure a clean, well-organized bar area.

Ideal candidates have excellent customer service, the ability to follow safety rules, and experience with POS systems. Must be 18+, able to work nights and weekends, and bartending training preferred.

Job Summary:

The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to patrons, oversee the stock of liquor and bar supplies, and collect money for drinks served.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receives orders from guests and waitstaff.
• Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
• Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.
• Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
• Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles.
• Keeps bar supplied with snacks.
• Ensures that guests are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
• Collects money from guests for drinks prepared and served.
• Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to guests who are intoxicated or disruptive.
• Submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
• At least one year of related experience preferred.
• Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or other related training preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
