Job summary

Lakewood National Golf Club in Bradenton, FL, part of Troon, is seeking a full-time Tiki Bar Bartender to join a fast-paced hospitality team at a premier golf club. This role offers exposure to a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities include stocking, serving beverages, inventory control, cash handling, and guest service. Must be 21+, have bartending experience, know cocktails and wines, and complete Alcohol Awareness Training.

Qualifications

• Must have bartending experience.
• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training required.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes, and serves alcoholic beverages; assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicates with management when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs provided by management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions; uses POS system.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, events, and special occasions.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Adheres to safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay:

$12.00 per hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes, and serves alcoholic beverages; assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
• Performs opening and closing duties that include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilizes Point of Sale System
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars
• Occasionally serves meals to guests
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

Must 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol

• Must have bartending experience

Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
