Job summary

Manpower Maine is seeking two experienced TIG Welders for an immediate opening in Biddeford. Join a safety‑focused manufacturing team that values precision welding, quality craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.

You will TIG weld stainless steel, mild steel and aluminum, read blueprints and work orders, inspect finished products, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Schedule is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday; pay rate $26–$36 per hour; temp-to-hire.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of sheet metal TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong math skills, including converting fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools.
• Understanding of material types, gauges, and welding-related metal characteristics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and bills of materials to complete projects accurately.
• Inspect finished products, verify measurements, and maintain quality standards throughout production.
• Perform routine equipment safety checks and preventive maintenance.
• Operate related fabrication equipment, including stud welders and rolling equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
