Opti Staffing client in Portland, OR is seeking a versatile welder with strong TIG/MIG experience for a true job-shop role. You will perform welding plus fabrication, grinding, and fixture work, handling varied tasks from setup through completion.

3+ years of TIG/MIG welding, blueprint reading, and crane/forklift experience are required. Good problem-solving skills and adaptation to changing jobs are essential for success.

• Blueprint reading, welding symbols, tape measure aptitude.
• Crane and forklift experience.
• High level skill on thinner steel.
• Fabrication experience is a must.

Location: Portland, Oregon

Compensation: $27-35+/hr. DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am-2:30pm

• Thips osition is about much more than just TIG and MIG welding!


• While welding is a major component of the role, it also requires strong mechanical reasoning, finishing experience, grinding, setup, and fixture work.


• Strong fabrication experience is a must as well.


• This is a true job-shop environment, so you need to be comfortable handling whatever job comes your way.


• One day it may be TIG, the next MIG, and the next something completely different.


• We’re looking for someone versatile who can jump in, problem-solve, and confidently take a project from setup through completion.
