Job summary

Aerotek in Gilbert, AZ is seeking experienced TIG Welders to support a fast-paced production line. You will weld black carbon steel and stainless steel pipe, including flanges and elbows, with emphasis on cycle time and repeatable quality.

This contract-to-hire role offers first and weekend shifts with a $500 retention bonus, a modern air-conditioned facility, and medical, dental and vision insurance plus a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience with black carbon steel and stainless steel pipe.
• Strong pipe prep skills including grinding and fit-up for flanges/elbows.
• Knowledge of root, fill, and cap welding techniques.
• Experience working on or alongside a production line.
• Understanding of takt time and cycle time in manufacturing.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on black carbon steel pipe up to 8 inches and 4-inch pipe assemblies.
• Weld elbows and flanges connecting to compressors.
• Complete welds through root, fill, and cap passes.
• Prep material by grinding, beveling, and cleaning for weld readiness.
• Maintain weld quality while meeting cycle time targets.
