Job summary

Express Employment Professionals seeks an experienced GTAW/TIG welder to perform welds on stainless and carbon steel pipe and fabricated assemblies in a production setting. The role requires hands-on TIG welding with both stainless and carbon steel, plus FCAW experience for cross-task fabrication.

The candidate should be proficient in reading blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings, and must be able to set up equipment, control heat, and ensure weld quality while maintaining a safe work

Qualifications

• 3–5 years professional TIG/GTAW experience with stainless and carbon steel.
• Experience with FCAW and 6G welding capability.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Execute GTAW/TIG welds on stainless and carbon steel pipe, tubing, machinery, and fabricated assemblies.
• Operate TIG and Flux Core equipment: select amperage, wire/filler, tungsten, shielding gas, and technique for each job.
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, dimensions, tolerances, and written specs.
