Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a TIG Welder in Fremont, CA to join our team. The role focuses on TIG welding of Inconel and stainless steel, with preferred vacuum welding experience, and requires accurate fabrication of components for solid oxide fuel cell hardware.

You will follow SOPs, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to maintaining equipment and fixtures in a safety-conscious shop environment.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 7–9 years working experience in a capital equipment environment, where hands on manufacturing practices were required.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding of Inconel and stainless steel per SOPs.
• Fabricate components for use in solid oxide fuel cell assemblies.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Maintain all machine shop equipment and inventories.
• Create assembly and fabrication fixtures; address and improve methods for creating hardware and assemblies.
