Job summary

Ferco Aerospace in Greenwood, IN is seeking a skilled TIG welder for aerospace fabrication. The role involves welding stainless steel and Inconel sheets from 0.035 to 0.25 inch, reading complex blueprints, and selecting proper materials and weld wire. This is a full-time, first-shift position with benefits.

Qualifications

TIG welding experience required for aerospace parts.
Knowledge of welding stainless steel and Inconel.
Ability to read complex blueprints and specifications.

Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

TIG weld stainless steel and Inconel sheets 0.035 inch to 0.25 inch thick.
Select materials and weld wire as needed for components.
Prepare materials for welding: cut, grind and clean.
Work from complex blueprints or verbal/written instructions with minimal supervision.
Multi-task and maintain good work ethic; willingness to learn.
